Presently it can already be stated that one in ten COVID-19 patients will have symptoms for a period of 12 weeks or more, namely extreme tiredness worsening after exertion.
In addition to the physical symptoms, emotional damage is also of significant importance, where symptoms of psychological stress, sleep disturbances, anxiety and depression persist. Cognitive symptoms are equally mentioned in relation to memory and the ability to concentrate, with complaints of slower and less intuitive reasoning, greater mental confusion and even vocabulary difficulties.
The Post-COVID-19 Consultation for Adults aims, through articulation with a multidisciplinary and specialized team, to treat the various persistent symptoms of the disease, whether cognitive, physical, sensory and / or emotional.
During the initial consultation, a global assessment of the patient’s health status in the post-COVID-19 context is carried out by the doctor, who will if necessary, referrer the patient to another medical specialty, but will continue to monitor and follow-up with the other specialists and the patient.
For all adult patients, suffering from acute COVID-19 infection, who present one or more of the following symptoms:

Worsening of an existing disease
Sequelae after hospital admission for COVID-19
Problems in resuming work, physical activity and or personal life.
